5 individuals have been killed after a small aircraft belonging to the Mexican Navy crashed off the coast of Galveston, Texas, on Monday, officers stated in an announcement.
Eight individuals have been on board the small aircraft when it crashed. Out of the eight, 5 individuals died, two persons are alive and one individual continues to be lacking, the Mexican Navy stated.

The plane that crashed was conducting a “humanitarian mission centered on specialised medical transport,” the Mexican Navy stated.
The crash occurred after 3 p.m. on Monday close to Galveston, alongside the Texas coast, roughly 50 miles southeast of Houston.
