Canadian Photo voltaic Inc. has executed agreements with Sunraycer Renewables LLC, an Annapolis, Md.-based renewable power firm, for battery power storage and two photo voltaic initiatives in Texas, in addition to for the acquisition of as much as 2 GWp of photo voltaic modules for numerous Sunraycer initiatives.
Below the agreements, e-STORAGE, Canadian Photo voltaic’s subsidiary specializing within the design, manufacturing and integration of battery power storage techniques, will ship 188 MWh DC to the Gaia venture, situated in Navarro County, and the 127 MWh DC Midpoint venture in Hill County. Commissioning is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025 for each initiatives.
Collectively, the 2 Texas power storage initiatives will leverage over 60 SolBank 3.0 battery containers. SolBank 3.0 is e-STORAGE’s newest proprietary power storage answer, that includes high-density lithium-iron-phosphate cells, superior battery administration techniques, and revolutionary liquid cooling thermal administration techniques. The design of the sturdy Solbank answer ensures the reliability and safety required for large-scale initiatives within the demanding Texas setting.
Sunraycer’s numerous upcoming initiatives will deploy as much as 2 GWp of Canadian Photo voltaic’s newest high-efficiency photo voltaic modules, with energy outputs of as much as 725 Wp. These modules provide as much as 85% bifaciality and 23.3% module effectivity, together with low energy degradation and excessive power yield, successfully decreasing the levelized price of power (LCOE) and system price.
