Prime Home Republican leaders are voicing help for Israel’s strikes on Iran.
Speaker Mike Johnson posted an Israeli flag on X and stated, “Israel IS proper—and has a proper—to defend itself!
Majority Chief Steve Scalise stated he stands with Israel.
“Iran has refused to dismantle its nuclear program, which places America in danger and poses an existential risk to Israel. Tonight Israel is taking motion to defend itself, and we stand with Israel. Our prayers are with them and all American personnel within the area,” Scalise stated in a post on X.
Echoing Trump administration officers, Home Armed Companies Committee Chairman Mike Rogers said the U.S. was not concerned within the strikes.
“The U.S. was not concerned within the strikes, however our forces stand able to defend themselves and our ally Israel,” Rogers stated in an announcement.
