The person accused of beginning a fireplace that ultimately turned the lethal blaze that devastated the Palisades space of Los Angeles earlier this 12 months has been indicted by a federal grand jury, the Justice Division introduced Wednesday.
Jonathan Rinderknecht, 29, was charged in a three-count indictment with one rely of destruction of property via hearth, one rely of arson affecting property utilized in interstate commerce and one rely of timber set afire.
He faces as much as 45 years in federal jail.
