A big-scale response is underway in Sacramento after a REACH Air Medical Providers helicopter crashed onto Freeway 50, shutting down eastbound site visitors Monday evening.

No affected person was on board, the corporate stated.
The helicopter appeared to have simply lifted off from UC Davis Medical Heart when it crashed, in line with flight-tracking knowledge.

California Freeway Patrol stated it is going to be working with the Nationwide Transportation Security Board and Federal Aviation Administration to research and resolve when the wreckage might be moved off the freeway.
