Police have arrested protesters in London for supporting activist group Palestine Action, which was banned at midnight in the UK.
“Officers have arrested greater than 20 individuals on suspicion of offences below the Terrorism Act 2000. They’ve been taken into custody. Palestine Motion is a proscribed group and officers will act the place prison offences are dedicated,” the Metropolitan Police wrote on X on Saturday.
Marketing campaign group Defend Our Juries mentioned in a press launch that 27 individuals, together with a priest and various well being professionals, had been arrested for offences below the Terrorism Act.
