The U.S. Secret Service placed on go away an agent who expressed adverse opinions on social media about slain conservative influencer Charlie Kirk and revoked his safety clearance, two U.S. officers stated.

In a memo to workers that was shared with CBS Information, Secret Service Director Sean Curran stated politically motivated assaults in the US are on the rise, and workers should not exacerbate the issue.
“Let me be clear, politically motivated assaults in our nation are growing — seemingly day by day,” Curran wrote. “The women and men of the Secret Service have to be targeted on being the answer, not including to the issue.”
